The 2017 Vatel Bordeaux Gala – an unforgettable evening

Let’s have a closer look at this exceptional, pleasant and congenial event.

The Vatel Bordeaux Gala is an event everyone loves, where all the different classes of the school meet up to celebrate the new Bachelor’s and MBA alumni. This year, students and the Vatel Bordeaux’s administrative staff were all dressed to the nines for their “Prom Night, Hollywood Red Carpet”, in the awesome venue which was the presidential lodge in the Matmut Atlantic Stadium.

There speeches given by the Director and the Dean, Regis Glorieux, a raffle with loads of prizes, and just like in American graduation balls, the election of the King and Queen for the evening, where Chloe Bardouil and Mathieu Jude presided.

“This Gala is very important for all our students. It’s an opportunity to take advantage of some of our last moments together. The venue chosen by Student Services was a new one and I’d also like to thank our jazz musicians, “The Lobsters,” – they were fantastic! I think that everyone also had lots of fun with the photo booth, where they all left with a little souvenir,” said Candice, a future Bachelor’s alumnus.

This chic and trendy evening was organized by Student Services, and they have been working on it since February, to find the venue, solicit partners for this event, find the catering services, plan the events, and do all of this on a tight budget.

“Now that the Gala is behind us, we’re all really satisfied and also a bit relieved, because everything went well. We needed a lot of dogged perseverance to organize the highlights for students at Vatel Bordeaux (their on-board week-end, events, the Gala, etc.) while of course going to our courses, our practical applications, and our tests,” said Segolene Boissiere, the Student Service’s treasurer.

Anais Benghozi, the president, added: We learned a lot, both socially and professionally, from this experience. Participation in Student Services makes us more mature, and allows us to use everything we’ve learned, in Accounting, in Management, as well as in Human resources.”

The feedback was unanimous. The 2017 Gala will remain “an unforgettable experience” for all, reflecting the Vatel spirit.
