A SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE CAMPUS

In 2016, Vatel Bordeaux became the first hospitality school to be awarded the “European Ecolabel” and “Tourism & Disability” certifications, in line with the aims of the School’s general educational project.

A “Corporate Educative Social Responsibility” Charter asserts this global and overarching approach.
It is based on 5 key principles:

 Controlling energy consumption

 Reducing waste, combating obsolescence

 Encouraging sustainable mobility

 Prioritizing sustainable purchases

Making a greater contribution to society

“Our priority is to train our students to tune into societal issues so that they can become key professional stakeholders in sustainable development, through their knowledge and mastery of operational tools, of course, but also and especially through their actions and behaviors”, explains Régis Glorieux, Managing Director of Vatel Bordeaux.
