In a few day’s time, our 1st year Bachelor students, who started in September, will be leaving to begin a 4-month practical internship.

More and more of our students are choosing « mountain palaces » over « tropical resorts ».

In fact 80% of them are about to begin the winter season in hotels belonging to the Alp’Azur group, which has been working in partnership with Vatel Bordeaux for several years now.

The group includes some fine 3 to 5 star establishments, like The Carlina Hotel, The Bellecote Hotel and The Mont Vallon Hotel.

These hotels are located in the most reputed Alpine ski resorts, like Courchevel and Méribel. They offer guests gastronomic restaurants and a luxurious setting at the foot of the ski slopes. This is a fine opportunity for our students to take their first steps in the professional hospitality industry while enjoying a ski down the slopes during their leisure time.

The remaining 20% have departed to more exotic destinations.

In the Tropics, Vatel also works with luxurious hotels located at the heart of the Indian Ocean resorts. Among these is the 5 star Lux Resort, which won the prize for the best hotel in Reunion Island in the 2013 World Travel Awards. An establishment with such a reputation for excellence can only be an asset for our students and their professional training.
