By browsing the website, the user fully agrees to the terms of use set out hereafter. These terms of use are likely to be amended or completed at any time, users of the website are thus asked to consult them regularly.

This website is available to users at any time. An interruption for technical maintenance may nonetheless be decided by Vatel Bordeaux, users will be duly notified as to the dates and times of such occurrences.

The website is regularly monitored and updated by the Marketing & Communication department. Likewise, legal notices can be modified at any moment: they, however, constitute a basis that can be consulted as frequently as desired.


3.  Description of the services provided

The website aims at providing information in relation to all the activities carried out by the International Hotel Management School in Vatel Bordeaux. Vatel Bordeaux seeks to meet the highest accuracy standards when publishing information on the website However, Vatel Bordeaux excludes any liability for omissions, inaccuracies or shortcomings upon performing the upgrade of the website, resulting from its own doing or from third party partners furnishing these information.

All information indicated on the website are for general information purposes, and are likely to be subject to amendments. Additionally, content published on the website is not exhaustive and is subject to reservations of adjustments made since the time of publication.


4.  Contractual limitations on the technical data

The website uses JavaScript technology.

The website is not to be held accountable for any material damage linked to the usage of the website. Moreover, the user undertakes, when accessing the website, to utilize new equipment free of viruses and an updated next generation browser.


5.  Intellectual Property and counterfeits

Vatel Bordeaux is the sole proprietor of Intellectual Property Rights and owns full copyright for all constituents of the website: texts, images, logos, graphics, icons, sounds, software.

Any reproduction, representation, amendment or publication of these constituents, in whole or in part, regardless of the medium used, is strictly prohibited, unless a written consent is produced beforehand by Vatel Bordeaux.

Any unauthorized exploitation of the website or of any of its constituents will be considered as an act of counterfeit and shall be sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of article L.335-2 of the Intellectual Property Code.

Vatel Bordeaux is not liable for any direct or indirect damage inflicted to the user’s equipment during the process of accessing the website, resulting from the usage of equipment that does not meet the specifications stated in Paragraph 4, or from the occurrence of a computer bug or an incompatibility.

Interactive sections (possibility to ask questions in the « contact » section) are at the disposal of users. Vatel Bordeaux reserves the right to suppress, without prior formal notice, any content published in this section that would be a breach of the legislation applicable in France, notably provisions in relation to data protection. In such event, Vatel Bordeaux reserves the possibility to cast doubt on the civil or/and criminal liability of the user, in case messages of racist, defamatory, insulting or pornographic nature were displayed, in any form (text, photography…).

9.Applicable law and attribution of jurisdiction

Any dispute arising out of the use of the website is governed by the French law, and submitted exclusively to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Paris.

Law      78-17      issued      on      January      6,      1978,      amended       by       Law 2004-801 issued on August 6, 2004 with regard to Information Technologies, Data Files and Civil Liberties.

Law 2004-575 issued on June 21, 2004 on the Confidence in Digital Economy.

European Regulation 2016/679 on Protection of Personal Data issued on April 27, 2016 which came into force on May 25, 2018 amending the Directive (EU) of October 24, 1995.

11.  Lexicon

User: Internet user who connects to internet, using the aforementioned website.

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (« data subject»).
