It’s on! The 2nd edition of the Street Art competition organized by Vatel Bordeaux is the new event in town. From 8 until 25 September, vote for your preferred artwork, under the theme #ActForThePlanet.

After choosing “multiculturality” last year as the main theme for the competition, students opted this year for an action advocating ecology through the theme #ActForThePlanet, What are the best ways to preserve the planet and protect the future generations ?
“We surveyed many of our students and they mostly chose the theme “Act for the planet”, as a proof that the new generation pays great attention to preserving the planet and safeguarding its natural resources. It is also a testament to the understanding and commitment of our students to our endeavor “the social responsibility of educational enterprises” (RS2E). This innovative concept initiated by Vatel Bordeaux was nominated to the Awards of the best educational initiative amongst hotel schools in the world, and it is widely and systematically practiced in all our institutions. Vatel Bordeaux is the only hotel school in France which practical training entities, Hotel and Tables Vatel, have obtained the European Ecolabel.” Régis Glorieux, President of Vatel Bordeaux.
Street Art by Vatel Bordeaux contest– 2 editions & 220 entries in total

“Despite the COVID-19 breakout, the 2nd edition was maintained. The current edition was launched at the beginning of 2020 and despite the COVID-19 health crisis, we didn’t want to cancel the event. Instead, we adapted to the situation and revised our calendar. Despite the difficult circumstances, we received this year 87 projects from artists of 21 nationalities and we are delighted for that. 2020 welcomed very talented participants.” Alexandra Gomez, Communication Director, Vatel Bordeaux.
