Ricardo comes from Portugal (Lisbon), he arrived in France in 2017 after completing a two-year Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Technology at the School of Tourism in Lisbon and after nine years of experience in 3 and 4* hotels.

He has an almost perfect command of the French language, something that his professional experiences have allowed him. He was able to spend a season in Saint-Tropez, then he joined the Hotel & Restaurant Lalique in Bommes, Sauternes, for the pre-opening in April 2018 as a receptionist. The following year, he was promoted to head of reception.

Ricardo joined the 4* Vatel Hotel in Bordeaux in April as Room Division Manager.

Ricardo describes himself as passionate about hospitality. He is the guarantor of the proper functioning of the reception of the Hotel and the room service. He ensures the satisfaction of the Vatel Hotel’s guests. He also shares his experience and expertise with Vatel’s Bachelor students from Vatel Bordeaux who are in practice with him.
