VATEL Bordeaux had the pleasure to be part of the 48,858 visitors who could admire, taste and foresee the future trends of wine and spirits industry at Vinexpo Exhibition 2015.
Asia, at the heart of the growing market, showed its interest to the wine & spirits industry. China, with 3,388 visitors is the first foreign country with a number of visitors increasing by 13.9% vs 2011.
Japan, where wine consumption continues to steadily grow, was respresented by 427 professionals (+17.63%). More and more visitors attended the exhibition from East countries: India (+32.7%), Taiwan (+4.5%), Vietnam (+20.4%), Malaysia (+21.1%).
Kiyoshi Yokoyama, President and Managing Director of Mercian Corporation testified :
