Visit to Château Pape Clément for 2nd year Bachelor
In the framework of their wine studies module with professor Pierre Mettelin, M2 students had the opportunity to visit Château Pape Clément on the 11th of April. Located in Pessac and name after its most famous owner, Pope Clement V, this is one of the finest wine estates in Bordeaux.
Businessman and wine lover Bernard Magrez bought the château in the 1980s and has given this great growth a new impetus as well as “an unprecedented international aura”, achieving full recognition with the 2009 vintage.
During their visit, the students toured the vineyard and cellars, and also tasted 2007 Château Pape Clément.
